About This Page

This page describes The Honest Coconut's SMS ordering and delivery notification program. It is provided so that authorized users, Client Account administrators, and reviewers can understand how our SMS program works, how consent is collected, and what messages participants will receive.

Program Description

The Honest Coconut operates a B2B SMS program ("The Honest Coconut SMS Ordering & Delivery Updates") that allows authorized representatives of contracted Client Accounts to place orders, receive delivery status updates, and coordinate same-day and scheduled coconut deliveries via two-way SMS through our toll-free number +1 (844) 544-2626.

The program is transactional only. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

Who Can Participate

The SMS program is available exclusively to authorized employees and representatives of commercial businesses ("Client Accounts") that have signed a delivery contract with The Honest Coconut. The program is not currently available to the general public.

How Consent Is Collected

We use a strict two-step opt-in process:

Step 1 — Client Account contract.

Each Client Account signs a delivery contract with The Honest Coconut that includes explicit SMS consent language. A representative sample of that consent language reads:

"Client authorizes The Honest Coconut to send transactional SMS messages to the mobile phone numbers Client's authorized representatives register at https://www.thehonestcoconut.com/bb-opt-in. Client represents and warrants that it has authority to permit these registrations, that the numbers will be company-issued or company-authorized, and that the registered users are authorized employees or representatives of Client. Each registered number must individually opt in by replying YES to a confirmation SMS before becoming active. Client agrees to keep registered numbers current and to deactivate numbers promptly when authorization changes."

Step 2 — Individual employee web-form opt-in and SMS confirmation.

An authorized employee of a Client Account visits our public opt-in form at https://www.thehonestcoconut.com/bb-opt-in and submits their full name, their employer's 7-digit Client Account ID, and their mobile phone number. The form requires the user to actively check an unchecked consent box agreeing to receive SMS messages.

After submission, the user receives the following confirmation SMS:

"The Honest Coconut: Confirm SMS registration for account [accountId]. Reply YES within 24 hours to activate. Reply STOP to cancel. Msg & data rates may apply."

The phone number does not become active for SMS communications until the user replies "YES" to this message.

After the user replies YES, they receive:

"The Honest Coconut: You are now opted in to receive order confirmations, delivery updates, and account notifications via SMS. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies."

The number is then active for SMS ordering and delivery communications.

Web Form Disclosure

When an authorized employee visits the opt-in form at https://www.thehonestcoconut.com/bb-opt-in, the following disclosure is displayed adjacent to an unchecked consent checkbox:

"I agree to receive SMS messages from The Honest Coconut, including order confirmations, delivery status updates, and account notifications related to my employer's business account. Message frequency varies based on order activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe at any time. By submitting, I confirm I am an authorized representative of the business account named above."

Below the submit button, an additional disclosure reads:

"After submitting, you'll receive a one-time confirmation text from our toll-free number. Reply YES to that text to activate SMS messaging on your number. Standard message and data rates may apply."

Message Types

Authorized users who have completed both opt-in steps will receive transactional messages including:

Order confirmations

Order coordination requests (e.g., asking how many cases are needed)

Delivery status updates and ETA notifications

Live delivery tracking links to view delivery driver's location in real time

Driver direct contact phone numbers for delivery coordination

Account-related notifications

We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages through this program.

Links and Phone Numbers in Messages

Our SMS messages may include:

Links to live delivery tracking pages hosted on thehonestcoconut.com. These links allow you to see the real-time location of your delivery driver. We do not use third-party URL shorteners.

Direct phone numbers for your assigned delivery driver so you can coordinate hand-off, building access, or delivery instructions directly with the driver.

Links lead only to The Honest Coconut's own delivery tracking interface. Phone numbers shown in messages are company-issued or company-authorized numbers used by our delivery personnel during active deliveries.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your order activity.

Cost

The Honest Coconut does not charge for SMS messages. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply, depending on your plan.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is supported on most major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us: STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, OPTOUT, or REVOKE.

After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.

Opt Back In

If you previously opted out and wish to resume receiving SMS communications, reply START, SUBSCRIBE, YES, UNSTOP, or APPROVE to any prior message, or contact your account administrator to coordinate re-registration.

For assistance, reply HELP or INFO to any message and we will send:

"The Honest Coconut SMS: To place an order, text ORDER or HELLO. Reply STATUS for latest order status. Reply STOP to opt out. Support: hello@thehonestcoconut.com."

Privacy

Information collected through our SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or SMS delivery providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

The following are representative examples of messages users may receive through this program:

Confirmation SMS (sent after web-form submission):

"The Honest Coconut: Confirm SMS registration for account 1000042. Reply YES within 24 hours to activate. Reply STOP to cancel. Msg & data rates may apply."

Opt-in activation SMS (sent after user replies YES):

Order received and confirmation request:

"The Honest Coconut: Order received from Kansas City Country Club — 12 cases for Saturday 5/17 delivery. Reply 1 to confirm, 2 to edit, 3 to cancel. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

Conversational order coordination:

"The Honest Coconut: Hey Sarah @ The Rooftop — what do you need today? Reply with how many cases and we'll get them out to you. Reply STOP to opt out."

Delivery dispatch notification:

"The Honest Coconut: Hey Mike @ Downtown Cafe — your 4 cases are on the way! ETA 20 mins. Reply STOP to opt out."

HELP keyword reply:

"The Honest Coconut SMS: To place an order, text ORDER followed by number of cases. Reply STATUS for latest order status. Reply STOP to opt out. Support: hello@thehonestcoconut.com."
