The Green Dwarf is a Vietnamese cultivar of Cocos nucifera. This special variety of coconut is known for its high yield of abundant, sweet water, tender meat-containing coconuts. The Green Dwarf coconut is full of living coconut superwater and a great choice for daily consumption.
Where Does it Grow?
Green Dwarf coconuts are grown in the warm, wet, tidal soils of the Mekong River Delta of Southern Vietnam by largely by smallholder family farms. Other producing provinces include Trà Vinh, Tiền Giang, and Bình Định.
Flavor Profile
Green Dwarf coconut water has a creamy mouthfeel, sweet taste, and subdued earthy flavor profile with a range notes from dry husk, to doughy bread.
